TARA SALLEE MOORE, J.D., is the Supervising Attorney for the Department of Children's Services Administrative Procedures Division. Graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1991 with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice and then earned a Master's Degree in Social Work from Tulane University in 1993. Upon graduation from Tulane started working for the Mid Cumberland Community Services Agency as a Case Manager. In 1997, while working full-time, she began studies at Nashville School of Law. In 2000 began working for the Department of Children's Services first as a Team Leader than a Team Coordinator for the Mid Cumberland Region. Upon graduation from law school in 2002, joined the Administrative Procedures Division of DCS. Presides over the contested cases of the Department governed by the Uniform Administrative Procedures Act; to include substantiated child abuse, adoption assistance and foster care removal cases.
