Lisa Collins Werner was born in Knoxville and raised in Oak Ridge, TN. She graduated from Tennessee Tech and St. Louis University School of Law. She served on the St. Louis Law Journal and St. Louis Law Review. She worked her way through law school clerking for the firm of Reinert, Duree and Crane. Lisa is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Illinois and Tennessee. She has practiced law for 22 years.
Lisa is a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 listed General, Civil and Family Law Mediator. She has also been trained in and handles Collaborative Divorce. She is an American Arbitration Association Arbitrator. She has chaired the ADR Section for the Knoxville Bar Association and was the co-chair of the Collaborative Law Committee for the Tennessee Bar Association.
In her spare time she loves to travel and play tennis. She is on the board of the Appalachian Ballet Company and Agape. She has been involved with organizations assisting victims of domestic violence, drug and alcohol dependency and abuse for over 25 years.
