Faculty Profile: Daniel Swanson

Daniel T. Swanson is Special Counsel with the Lewis Thomason, P.C..  His practice focuses on healthcare matters, including medical malpractice defense, regulatory enforcement defense, False Claims Act defense, provider-payer disputes, billing audit appeals, cybersecurity and HIPAA issues.  He is a member of the Tennessee, North Carolina, and Knoxville Bar Associations, the Hamilton S. Burnett American Inns of Court, and the 2019 Class of the Knoxville Bar Foundation Fellows.  He is admitted to practice in the state and U.S. District Courts of Tennessee and North Carolina, as well as, the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
