Biography

Prior to establishing Shipman & Crim, Joel was a prosecuting attorney with the Davidson County District Attorney General’s Office for 5 years. Mr. Crim served as counsel to the Honorable Judge J. Randall Wyatt in Division II, Criminal Court of Davidson County.  Joel uses his unique perspective as a former prosecutor to analyze cases and put his clients in the best position possible to defend their case. Because of his knowledge, understanding and experience with the District Attorney’s office in Nashville, Joel handles all of the firm's criminal cases in Metropolitan Nashville and Davidson County.
