Biography

Mr. McCann’s practice is devoted to a combination of litigation and business transactions. Mr. McCann regularly handles commercial litigation and products liability matters in both federal and state courts in Tennessee, Mississippi and other states, with a particular focus on representing and advising chemical manufacturers. Mr. McCann is also Panel Counsel for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies in Tennessee and Mississippi. Prior to law school, Mr. McCann was a public accountant with both PricewaterhouseCoopers in Atlanta and Ernst & Young in Memphis where he provided attestation services for publicly traded companies. Part of Mr. McCann’s law practice remains devoted to advising companies with transactions that fall under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvement Act of 1976.
