Faculty Profile: Roland Baggott III

Roland W. Baggott III is a sole practitioner. His practice focuses predominantly on franchise and distribution law and litigation, including regulatory compliance, commercial litigation, trade secret litigation, business transactions and trademark registration. Roland represents both franchisors and franchisees in all facets of the franchise relationship, frequently acting as an outside general counsel to his clients. He has counseled and currently represents start-up franchisors, mature franchisors, sub-franchisors, regional developers, multi-unit franchisees and single unit franchisees. Roland is an active member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Franchising where he has served in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution steering committee. Roland is admitted to practice in all of the state and federal courts in Tennessee and Louisiana.
