Faculty Profile: Jason Williams

Jason Williams is the Operations Director for Maize Analytics, a Nashville software development company specializing in patient privacy monitoring and data integration. Jason graduated from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he was the executive managing editor for the Indiana Health Law Review. He spent the first seven years of his legal career as a US Army JAG officer, with two deployments to Afghanistan, culminating in an assignment as a Brigade Judge Advocate. Following his military service, Jason spent six years in private practice in Kentucky and Tennessee before accepting a position with Maize Analytics.  Jason obtained his Master’s Degree in Information Technology with a concentration in information security from Lipscomb University and his Master of Laws in Health Law at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, Beazley Institute of Health Law and Policy, with a certificate in healthcare compliance. As Operations Director, Jason applies his legal and technical knowledge to solve problems at the intersection of privacy, compliance, and information technology.
