Biography

Jill is the owner and president of Talbert Government Relations LLC in Nashville. Since starting the firm in 2012, she has represented various clients in the state legislative, executive and regulatory arenas. Her clients' interests are diverse, ranging from health care to data analytics. For two of her clients, she serves as the Executive Director for their associations. She has served as the Executive Director for the Tennessee Self-Insurers Association since January 2014, and represents Tennessee's largest self-insured employers on workers' compensation issues. In October 2015, Jill became the first Executive Director for the Tennessee Distillers Guild representing nearly thirty distilleries in Tennessee. Prior to starting her own firm, she worked for the Tennessee Hospital Association for four years as the Assistant Vice President of Advocacy and Grassroots/ Regulatory Attorney. Jill also worked for the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services as their Policy and Training Director for three years. She has held her attorney's license since 2005.

 

Jill is married with two children. She enjoys traveling, playing tennis and spending time with family and friends.
