Biography

Brian leads the Employment Law Practice of Morgan & Morgan in Tennessee. As trial and appellate counsel, Brian's practice focuses on issues involving wage & hour, workplace discrimination and retaliation, and an array of other issues arising in the workplace. Prior to joining Morgan & Morgan, Brian was the Managing Partner of The Winfrey and an associate at the national employment defense firm of Ogletree Deakins. He has been recognized by Best Lawyers in American and SuperLawyers for his work in the areas of employment law and trial practice.
Brian is a graduate of Vanderbilt Law School and committed member of the TBA. He has served as the Secretary and member of the Executive Committee of the TBA Board of Governors for the last four (4) Presidential administrations. Brian has also co-chaired the TBA Diversity Leadership Institute, served on the YLD Board, and is a member of the 2012 TBA Leadership Law class. He also has been an active Board member of the TBA Employment Law Section, Napier-Looby Bar Association, and Tennessee Employment Lawyers Association. Brian is also a Fellow for the Nashville Bar Foundation.
