Biography

Gordon Boutwell is an Administrative Judge for the State of Tennessee.  Prior to entering public service, he worked in private practice for seven years, concentrating in the areas of healthcare law, corporate law, and bankruptcy.  

Gordon earned his B.S. in Political Science and Communication studies from Vanderbilt University, and his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where he was a contributing member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and recipient of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers award. 

Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Gordon lives a stone's throw away from downtown Franklin with his wife and three children.
