Faculty Profile: Talley Olson

Talley A. Olson is the Director of the Office of Civil Rights Compliance for the State of Tennessee, Department of Finance & Administration, Division of Health Care Finance and Administration ("HCFA").  In this role, Ms. Olson acts as an adviser to key HCFA decision makers, HCFA's contractors, and other State agencies on federal and state civil rights laws, guidance, and policies.   She also pursues opportunities to help HCFA and its contractors develop innovative ideas that align business systems and practices with the federal and state civil rights laws.   Prior to becoming the Director for HCFA's Office of Civil Rights, Ms. Olson was with HCFA's Office of General Counsel for nine years and functioned as the lead counsel on civil rights and long-term care supports and services quality and administration issues.  You can reach Ms. Olson at Talley.A.Olson@tn.gov.
