Biography

I relocated from Connecticut to Tennessee in 2020 and opened an office in Knoxville. I continue to serve my existing clients who hail from various states, including CT, NY, FL and NC, and welcome inquiries from prospective clients looking for representation in transactions, commercial contracts, business and employment law matters.  I am also available to arbitrate or mediate commercial and consumer disputes as I serve as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association on its national roster of commercial and consumer arbitrators.

Before forming my own firm in 2016, I served as the general counsel of several large companies, including Delhaize Group (now Ahold Delhaize), PepsiCo, International Paper, Owens Corning, and GE Plastics.  Before becoming a general counsel, I practiced law in Miami, Florida, where I was a partner in the international law firm of Baker & McKenzie.  From 2009 to 2012, I served as a Commissioner on the Tennessee Supreme Court's Access to Justice Commission and continue to be recognized by the Tennessee Supreme Court as an Attorney for Justice for my pro bono service. I am admitted to practice law in four states, Florida (1982), Tennessee (2007), New York (2013) and Connecticut (2016).
