Biography

Caitlin Smith is a Senior Assistant Attorney General for the State of Tennessee. She handles criminal appeals on behalf of the State. She is a member of the Extradition Team and assists the office with human trafficking issues. Prior to joining the criminal division, Ms. Smith worked in the Consumer Protection division. She is a 2013 class member of the TBA Law Leadership program. Ms. Smith is licensed in Tennessee, California, and Texas. She has served on the boards of Big Brother Big Sister Middle Tennessee and Grace Health Clinic in Franklin. In her spare time, Ms. Smith enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband and son.
