Biography

Spring Miler is the Senior Director of Legal Strategy at the Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition (TIRRC). She has more than two decades of experience in immigrants' rights advocacy in legal and community-based settings. Prior to joining TIRRC in 2023, she spent nine years at Vanderbilt Law School as assistant dean for public interest and a lecturer in law, teaching experiential courses on immigrant and worker rights and overseeing the law school’s public interest program. She began her legal career in 2007 as a Skadden Fellow with Southern Migrant Legal Services/Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, where she represented agricultural workers throughout the south in federal employment and civil rights litigation as well as immigration matters. She has a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA in Latin American Studies from Brown University.
