Katie Evans Moss is an attorney in the Office of General Counsel for TennCare. Prior to joining OGC in 2015, she was an attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee for 7 years focusing on health, benefits, elder law and children's issues. While at Legal Aid, she was involved in significant federal litigation with the aim of keeping individuals with disabilities in their homes and communities. She was a recipient of the 2010 New Advocate of the Year Award from the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services. In 2012, she was invited to and attended a White House briefing for consumer health leaders on the Affordable Care Act. She currently serves on the Leadership Council for the Nashville Council on Aging, the TBA Elder Law Section Executive Council, and the TBA CLE Committee.
