Biography

A member of the Tennessee, New York, and District of Columbia bars, Mr. Syed has over twelve years of legal experience involving complex business combinations, domestic and international.  He has broad experience in litigation and cross-border transactional matters in a variety of industries.

An officer in the International Law Section of the American Bar Association (ABA), Mr. Syed has written and lectured extensively on many legal topics. He is a native of South Asia and is fluent in four languages. He has hands-on knowledge of the international business culture, and he appreciates the need for creative and strategic thinking to ensure success in the global economy.  He has an extensive network of legal and business contacts in Asia, the Middle East, Central and South America, Africa and Europe, as well as the United States.
