Biography

Adam Johnson is an associate at Nahon, Saharovich and Trotz, PLC, where he practices civil litigation in the area of personal injury. He earned his B.A. from UCLA in 2003, summa cum laude, and his J.D. from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. While in law school, he served as a judicial extern for Judge Bernice B. Donald, then of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, and as a member of both the University of Memphis Law Review and the University of Memphis Moot Court Board. Adam and his partner won the University of Memphis Advanced Moot Court Competition in 2006, and he also received the CALI award for Civil Rights. Additionally, he was a graduate of the Memphis Bar Association Leadership Forum Class of 2012-2013. An active member in MBA Young Lawyers Division, he was elected to the MBA YLD Board of Governors in the fall of 2013 and has served as Secretary/Treasurer in 2015, Vice-President in 2016, and President in 2017. Adam has also been named an "Attorney for Justice" by the Tennessee Supreme Court in recognition of his pro bono service in the community, and he was awarded a Memphis Bar Association Access to Justice Award in 2014. He is a graduate of the Tennessee Bar Association Leadership Law Class of 2016.
