Chasity Sharp Grice graduated with honors from Clark Atlanta University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in French. Upon graduation, Ms. Grice graduated from University of Tennessee College of Law, where she focused on transactional tax planning. Additionally, she attended University of Texas at Dallas, where she received education in the Accounting and Tax areas. She also served as Managing Editor for the Tennessee Journal of Law and Policy and a two-year participant of the Frederick Douglass Moot Court team. Prior to opening up her own law office, Ms. Grice worked for Certified Public Accounting firms for two years where she focused primarily on estate planning and taxation for trusts, estates, and gifts.
Ms. Grice is a native of Tennessee and is admitted to the Bars of Tennessee and Texas. She is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, Association of Attorneys and Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Probate, Estate, Estate planning Council of Dallas and Trust section of the Dallas Bar Association.
Chasity has received her LLM in Estate planning and Elder law from Western New England College of Law. Additionally, she has regularly served as Substitute Judge for the Shelby County Probate Court judges in Shelby County, Tennessee. In 2020, Chasity was accepted as a fellow with the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. She is a Rising Star rated by Super Lawyer in 2017-2022.
