Biography

Tom Turner is president and founding partner of Document Solutions Inc. (DSi), a Nashville-headquartered firm providing advanced electronic discovery and digital forensics services, as well as all traditional litigation support, since 1999.

 

A graduate of Randolph-Macon College, where he earned a degree in business and economics, Tom began his career in the litigation support industry in 1994 with start-up company Premier Legal. He is a Certified E-Discovery Specialist and has worked in the practice of e-discovery since 2001. Tom has worked on hundreds of cases that span the e-discovery spectrum, has given many presentations on e-discovery for CLE credits and has made multiple presentations on e-discovery at conferences, seminars and training sessions throughout the country.  He is the author of a recent whitepaper Creating and Implementing an Information Management Policy and co-author of the whitepaper The Benefits of Sampling in E-Discovery.  In addition to his work with DSi, Tom was a founding partner and Chief Technology Officer of Paragon Legal Technology Group.  He is additionally a member of the Entrepreneur Organization and a board member of non-profit Watermelon Ministries.
