Faculty Profile: William O'Connor

Bill O'Connor serves as Director, Privacy and Regulatory, Assistant General Counsel, and Data Protection Officer for iCIMS, Inc. Bill is a Privacy Law Specialist (PLS), Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US and CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). In addition to his legal experience, Bill has extensive experience in the technology industry. Prior to entering law school, Bill worked as a systems manager and technology officer, where he designed and developed software, databases, network and systems security infrastructure, and disaster recovery plans. In addition, Bill developed policies, procedures and reports for information security and technology audit compliance.
