Faculty Profile: April Nemer

April W. Nemer practices family law with experience in divorce, custody, and post-divorce matters. She has been recognized as a SuperLawyers Rising Star multiple times, most recently in 2023, and she is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, the Nashville Bar Association, Collaborative Divorce Nashville, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. April is also a Rule 31 listed family law mediator. A native of Middle Tennessee, April earned a B.S. cum laude in Sociology and Journalism from Belmont University in 2006, and her J.D. from New England School of Law in Boston, MA in 2009, after which she clerked for the Hon. Isaac Borenstein (Ret.) for the Superior Court, Middlesex Division. April resides in Nashville with her husband, Jake, and their three children.
