Faculty Profile: Willa Kalaidjian

Willa Kalaidjian serves as Chair of the Chambliss Startup Group and is a member of the Business Section and Real Estate Section. Willa focuses her practice on startups and emerging companies, general commercial and business transactions, environmental compliance, and telecommunications and energy law.
Willa represents emerging and high-growth companies and investors in a variety of industries, including software, Internet of Things, 3-D printing, food and beverage, healthcare, merchant services, social media and other areas of technology. She regularly works with startups and entrepreneurs on entity choice, governance and business planning, trademarks, technology rights, and financial transactions. Willa advises businesses and individuals regarding the protection of their intellectual property, licensing agreements, software development agreements, privacy policies and website terms and conditions.
Willa regularly advises on environmental matters, including solid and hazardous waste management, air and stormwater permits, land remediation, environmental due diligence in real estate transactions, and review of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment reports. Willa assists manufacturers in ongoing regulatory compliance efforts with state and federal environmental agencies.
Willa also represents telecommunication and electric utilities on strategic planning and business matters.
