Faculty Profile: D'Andrea Evans

D’Andrea Evans is the American with Disabilities Act Corporate Compliance Officer and serves as the ADA Subject Matter Expert for patient provider care at the corporate offices of Hospital Corporation of America (HCA). She coordinated the completion of surveying accessibility deficiencies and remediation in over 200 healthcare facilities. D’Andrea has cultivated multiple contacts with other healthcare providers and advocacy groups in order to stay engaged with the current challenges that persons with disabilities face specifically in healthcare. She is the primary liaison between the corporate litigation and compliance groups and operations when handling accessibility related complaints and/or concerns. She is sincere in her investment to make the programs and services at HCA accessible to all the members of the communities served. D’Andrea has a Psychology degree from Texas State University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Nashville School of Law She is a passionate speaker and trainer and is genuinely invested in inspiring the staff with the confidence needed when accommodating persons with disabilities.
