Biography

Brittany Schaffer's practice includes a diverse range of music, entertainment, copyright, and right of publicity transactions. Her unique and broad knowledge of the music industry, and litigation background, enables her to service clients and the industry at large in a variety of capacities. Ms. Schaffer handles everything from drafting and negotiating recording, songwriting, and producer agreements to setting up touring corporations, negotiating sponsorship & endorsement deals, evaluating complex copyright matters, negotiating production agreements and music clearances, and providing advice and counsel on artist and brand development and protection. Her work in music also extends to significant involvement in developing music and copyright strategies and leading licensing efforts for popular websites, digital startups, large corporations, advertising agencies, sports and television networks, and general entertainment companies.
