Biography

Robyn Diaz is Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Robyn oversees the legal affairs, technology transfer, compliance, internal audit, security, and government affairs departments and manages outside counsel relationships. Before joining St. Jude, Robyn was a member of the in-house legal team at MedStar Health, served as an Adjunct Instructor and Academic Preceptor with the Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies, and was an attorney with Crowell & Moring, LLP. Robyn received a J.D. from Georgetown Law, B.A. from Brandeis University, and a Certificate in Executive Leadership for Healthcare Professionals from Cornell University. She is Chair of the University of Memphis School of Law Institute for Health Law & Policy, and Vice Chair of both the American Bar Association Health Care Facility Operations Interest Group and the Health Law Section Student Writing Competition. She serves on the Executive Council of the Tennessee Bar Association Health Law Section and is Board Counsel and serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Memphis Child Advocacy Center. Robyn is a past Chair of both the Memphis Bar Association Health Law Section and the District of Columbia Bar Health Law Section, and formerly served as Chair of the American Bar Association Health eSource editorial board.
