Biography

Amber J. Seay is a Senior Attorney with The Ehrisman Law Firm, P.C. in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She began her career in immigration law with the Department of Justice as an Attorney Advisor with the Memphis Immigration Court through the highly competitive Department of Justice Honors Program. After entering private practice, Mrs. Seay worked as an associate at the Chattanooga office of Baker Donelson focusing on employment immigration law. After moving to the Atlanta area, she focused her practice areas in humanitarian and family immigration law with a particular focus on complex crimmigration and inadmissibility/waiver issues and victims visas (including trafficking victims). She was a principal contributor to the highly
respected immigration law treatise “Immigration Law Practice” published in 2014 and has written articles for various publications. She has provided her immigration expertise on many news broadcasts, CLEs, and has spoken at several law schools. Mrs. Seay graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee in 2006 with a BA in Spanish and a BA in Psychology. Mrs. Seay subsequently received her J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law in 2010 where she was one of the founding members of the Immigration Law Student Association. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
