Biography

Kisha is the principal attorney at the Cheeks Rucker Firm, PLLC, a civil law firm that works with families, individuals, businesses, and entrepreneurs representing a variety of legal needs including trial strategy, business formations, contracts, growth initiatives and disputes. She handles cases in several practice areas including domestic relations, family law, contract disputes, personal injury, probate and estates and represents clients in state and federal courts.

Kisha is a graduate of Cumberland School of Law, at Samford University, in Birmingham, AL. She also earned a chemical engineering and mathematics degree from Vanderbilt University. Kisha utilizes her diverse work experience, business acumen as a third generation business owner and problem solving skills as an engineering project manager to effectively manage her clients’ case needs while providing legal expertise with compassion and understanding of each clients’ unique circumstances.

As a native of Chattanooga and graduate of Hixson High School, Kisha is greatly involved in her community, leading and participating in service programs that benefit children, seniors, and others in need. Kisha is a member and officer in many legal and civic organizations such as the Tennessee Bar Association, S.L. Hutchins Bar Association, Ivy Rose Foundation, Fannie Mae Crumsey Foundation, Pi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated,

Chattanooga Chapter of Links, Incorporated and Girl Scouts of the USA. Kisha was recently selected as a 2024 participant of the Tennessee Bar Association Leadership Law Program.

Kisha is married and a mother of two daughters, and a feisty yorkie poo, Josh.
