Biography

Jake is a solo practitioner in Columbia, TN. He maintains a general law practice focusing on criminal defense, personal injury, and probate law. Jake is a 2011 graduate of the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude. Jake earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Finance and an emphasis in real estate from Middle Tennessee State University in May of 2001.
 
While in law school, Jake was a Senior Staff Member of The University of Memphis Law Review and a member of The University of Memphis Moot Court Board. Jake received awards for earning the highest grades in his Evidence, Income Taxation, Trusts, Criminal Procedure II, and Product Liability classes.
 
Jake is a member of the Maury County Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association and the American Bar Association, and is a past president of the Maury County Young Lawyers Division. Jake currently serves as chair of the Tennessee Young Lawyers Division Wills for Heroes Committee, which organizes legal clinics to provide free wills and estate planning documents to first responders.
 
 
Jake currently resides in Columbia, TN, and his law practice is focused on helping people in Maury and surrounding counties.
