Faculty Profile: John Evans

John E. Evans is a Rule 31 listed family/general civil mediator specially trained in domestic  violence and a family law attorney practicing in Middle Tennessee. Prior to law school, John spent several years in the public sector including positions in economic development and the Governor’s office. John graduated from University of Tennessee College of Law with Honors where he served as the Editor-in-Chief for the Tennessee Journal of Law and Policy. John also holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from Tennessee State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Austin Peay State University. When not practicing law, John enjoys playing guitar for his church and hiking in the Smoky Mountains with his wife.
