Faculty Profile: Brenton Lankford

Brent Lankford is an attorney in the Nashville Office.  Brent practices primarily in the field of domestic relations, assisting clients with divorce and post-divorce matters, including issues of child custody, child support, alimony, and financial and property disputes. Brent joined Stites & Harbison after practicing domestic relations with Martin Heller Potempa & Sheppard, PLLC, in Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to that, Brent served as the Judicial Clerk to the Judges of the 21st Judicial District of Tennessee, which includes Williamson, Hickman, Perry, and Lewis counties. Brent is dedicated to advancing the legal profession outside of the courtroom as a member of the Harry Phillips American Inns of Court and the Nashville Bar Association. Brent enjoys spending time hiking Tennessee’s beautiful parks with his wife, Jennifer, and miniature schnauzer, Bo.  An avid sports fan, Brent never misses an opportunity to support the University of Tennessee Volunteers or St. Louis Cardinals.
