Biography

Mollie Gass is an Assistant General Counsel with the Office of General Counsel for the Tennessee Department of Health.  She prosecutes cases involving overprescribing healthcare providers in front of the Board of Medical Examiners, Board of Nursing, and other boards that license prescribers.  Mollie is actively involved in the auditing and disciplining of pain clinic certificates, and she also serves as the advisory attorney for the Medical Laboratory Board and Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators.  As co-founder of the Mending Hearts Legal Clinic and volunteer for the Magdalene House Legal Clinic, she has a passion for helping those who have been addicted to drugs and alcohol.  Mollie currently sits on the Nashville Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Board as the co-chair for their Homeless Committee and is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and Lawyers' Association for Women, Marion Griffin Chapter.
