BiographyChas Higgins focuses his practice on civil litigation and personal injury cases. He has successfully tried cases in both federal and state court. Mr. Higgins also provides counsel for charter schools and other non-profit organizations.
Before joining Burch, Porter & Johnson, Mr. Higgins served as a judicial law clerk to Chief Judge Jon P. McCalla of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Higgins was a teacher and high school basketball coach in Marianna, Arkansas, through Teach for America.
