Biography

Growing up in Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, Josh Ward learned the importance of family and of people helping each other out. In law school, Josh graduated first in his class and knew he wanted to live and help people - back home. Not only did Josh grow up in the Chattanooga area, but both of Josh's parents and even his grandparents are natives of Hamilton County. Surrounded by his family from birth, nothing is more important to Josh than helping families when they need it most. Josh is now starting his own family. He and Britney Daniel are engaged to be married in May of 2014.

Josh knows the importance of helping people. Josh's Great Grandmother was a teacher. Five of her six children became teachers. Now, Josh's sister is a teacher. Not surprisingly, Josh grew up understanding the importance of knowing what you're doing and helping others and his community. Becoming an attorney would give Josh the chance to do both.

Josh's dad is an electrician. From him, Josh learned the importance of hard work. Growing up, Josh spent hours working with his dad and grandfathers. He understands that everything good requires grit and determination. Josh's grit showed itself on the football field, where he was a standout defensive back for Soddy Daisy High School, earning a football scholarship to the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky. Josh's willingness to work and his love for competition fits perfectly with representing people who have been taken advantage of. He's always eager for a hard-fought victory for his clients.

Growing up in a close-knit family, Josh saw first-hand the difficulty that unexpected losses, like lost jobs or accidental death, can cause to a family. Thus, Josh has dedicated his practice to helping people who have problems with their employers and who have lost family members. Josh works for clients who have been injured at work, wrongfully terminated by their employers, or discriminated against by their employers, or whose employers have paid them less than they have earned. Josh also helps clients navigate the difficult legal issues his clients face probating a deceased family member's estate.

Josh is also a nature lover. Josh learned to love the woods from his parents, who took him and his sisters on camping trips. Going to college in the Appalachian mountains, Josh became an avid hiker and backpacker. Josh prefers light-weight backpacking, with a base weight around 17-18 pounds. You will often find Josh on the weekends exploring the Chattanooga trails with his girlfriend and his beautiful chocolate lab, Coba.

Josh is also a man of faith. He attends Clear Creek Church of Christ and North Hamilton Church of Christ.

Josh always wants his clients to feel like they are working together with him on their cases. Josh is always available to his clients and responds to questions quickly and honestly. You can contact Josh by phone at (423) 697-4529.
