Biography

Roe Frazer, a lawyer, technology innovator, 9990 skier, and casual golfer, is our Co-Founder. Roe is committed to technology and pricing innovation in eDiscovery and information governance - to make the very best technology solutions available to every law firm, every corporate office, and every attorney. In today's big data world, justice is achievable only through modern and affordable technology, in Roe's opinion. Roe also believes that the chief aim of eDiscovery technology should be to enhance the lifestyle and happiness of litigators and litigation support professionals. That means at cicayda putting the lawyer and legal professional first, ahead of the machine or the computer, and not at the mercy of software or self-styled experts.

Previously, Roe was the C.E.O. of CaseLogistix, Inc., an award-winning and critically acclaimed eDiscovery review platform. (CaseLogistix is now one of the flagship offerings of Thomson Reuters.)  Roe was named a “Global Top 100 Legal Technology Thought Leader” by City Tech Magazine, London U.K., and featured in the “President’s Corner” of Law & Technology News. An early adopter of technology for his law practice, Roe was in private law practice trying cases from 1985 to 2003, being selected as Outstanding Trial Lawyer of the Year (Mississippi) in 1993. At Samford University’s Cumberland Law School (Class of 1985) he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Cumberland Law Review, Co-Captain of the National Moot Court team, and a member of The Order of Barristers. He is a 1982 graduate of Wake Forest University - go Deacs!

Roe is an Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist (2014) in the NEXT Awards sponsored by the Nashville Chamber of Commerce and the Entrepreneur Center, widely recognized as one of the top technology and business incubators in the United States.
