Biography

A. Emma Flynn joined Berke, Berke & Berke in May of 2016. Emma got her bachelors degree from University of Miami in Florida and her law degree from Notre Dame Law School. When she became an attorney, she knew she wanted to fight injustice and improve client experience while doing so. To Emma, the practice of law is about a compassion, passion, and determination. Emma has helped people and companies all across the State of Tennessee and in other states. In her spare time, Emma enjoys spending time with her husband, yoga, and traveling. A. Emma Flynn, has a successful history of fighting against unfair practices and obtaining favorable resolutions for her clients. Emma is also a passionate negotiator who knows how to push back against other attorneys resisting claims or making unreasonable demands. Emma has been involved in multi-million dollar cases involving contract violations, misrepresentations, fraud, RICO claims, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Act, and Consumer Protection Act. She also deals with Adversarial Actions, real estate litigation, personal injury, construction litigation, and workplace discrimination suits. Emma has also represented startups, angel investors, and venture capital firms in various funding transactions up to a hundred million dollars ($100,000,000.00). She drafts contracts and consults clients on complex corporate matters including data breaches, unfair employment practices, whistle blowing, securities compliance, fiduciary duty, security and data breaches, BitTorrent piracy, intellectual property etc.
