Biography

Tiffany Tant-Shafer is Disciplinary Counsel with the Investigations Division of the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility.  Prior to joining the TBPR, Tiffany focused her career on advocating for children and survivors of domestic violence through her work in private practice and at legal aid societies in Missouri and Tennessee.  While employed with Legal Aid of Middle Tennessee, Tiffany also represented individuals in TennCare, SNAP, and senior law issues.  Before coming to Tennessee, she was in private practice and taught legal writing and family law classes with the Department of Criminal Justice and Legal Studies at Missouri Western State University.  She has presented on the topic of AI legal ethics for such groups as the Tennessee Bar Association, Tennessee State Government CLE Cooperative, Brock-Cooper Inn of Court, and co-presented at the TBPR’s Trust Account Workshop.
