Faculty Profile: Matthew Gibbs

A regulatory healthcare attorney for over a decade, Matt Gibbs represents clients in credentialing, employment agreements, payor disputes, and government investigations at the local, state, and federal levels.

Before joining Litson, Matt served as deputy general counsel for the Tennessee Department of Health, where he led a team of attorneys and subject matter experts across the disciplines of medicine, pharmacy, nursing, healthcare facilities, medical laboratories, and emergency medical services. In that role, he advised, collaborated with, and litigated for internal stakeholders, elected officials, and market participants on complex issues involving healthcare, medical cannabis, and life sciences.
