Faculty Profile: Ryan Martinez

Ryan Martinez serves as Vice President and Southeast Regional Underwriting Counsel with Alliant National Title Insurance Company. He provides underwriting counsel coverage for the states of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.  Ryan has been an attorney in private practice for over 10 years and is a State Bar member of Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina. Ryan has substantial multi-state real property expertise in the areas of residential and commercial transactions, litigation with a focus on title related matters, and foreclosures (judicial and non-judicial), as well as title examination, clearance, and curative matters. Prior to joining Alliant National, Ryan was southeastern regional underwriting counsel for another underwriter and previously in private practice with prominent Georgia law firms, where he practiced as a closing attorney conducting a wide range of transactional closings in Georgia. Ryan is also experienced in multi-state closings for various transaction types as well.  He is located in Smyrna, Georgia and is a member of several land title associations and bar organizations. These include the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Georgia, Southeast Land Title Association, Tennessee Land Title Association, North Carolina Land Title Association, and the American Land Title Association.
