Chris focuses on assisting companies and non-profit organizations design and implement effective retirement plans for their employees. Specifically, Chris facilitates the creation and monitoring of the investment policy statement, periodic plan benchmarking analysis, 3rd party fiduciary investment analysis and measurable participant education campaigns. From this focus, Chris has developed a passion for assisting sponsors and participants in helping them better understand their plan options. Chris received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business & Economics from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Emory University. Prior to joining the Fowler Group of Raymond James, as their retirement plans specialist, Chris spent 10 years with ING as a Sales and Relationship Manager in the large plan employee benefits and defined contribution market. Chris and his wife, Samantha, live in the Oak Hill area of Nashville with their daughter Lillie. They are supporters and volunteers with Tennessee Special Olympics, Habitat for Humanity and Second Harvest Food Bank. In his spare time, Chris enjoys golf with his wife, travel, and sampling Nashville’s new restaurants.
