Faculty Profile: Billy Leslie

Billy Leslie joined Farrar Bates Berexa in 2023 as an associate attorney.  Prior to joining Farrar & bates, Billy served as associate attorney at Wimberly Lawson, served as associate counsel at the Tennessee Department of Human Services and Department of Commerce and Insurance, and worked as a judicial law clerk for Judge Timothy L. Easter of the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals.  He received his J.D. from the Nashville School of Law in 2017 as a member of the Cooper’s Inn Honor Society.  Billy currently serves on the Tennessee Bar Association Board of Governors as Middle Tennessee Governor and is the Immediate Past President of the TBA Young Lawyers Division.  Billy is also a member of the Nashville Bar Foundation Leadership Law Forum class of 2022-2023. Prior to becoming an attorney, Billy worked for Raymond James & Associates, in Nashville, for 24 years. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from Tennessee Tech in 1993.
