Faculty Profile: Todd Skelton

Todd Skelton is the Chief Legal Counsel for Strategic Acquisitions Group, LLC. SAG is a private investment group located in Knoxville.
Todd previously served as Deputy Counsel to Governor Bill Haslam, where he was a member of the governor's senior staff and advised on judicial selection, legislation, executive clemency, and numerous other matters. Prior to joining the Haslam administration in early 2015, he was an associate attorney with Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C. in Memphis, where he practiced in the areas of securities, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Todd earned his undergraduate, law, and MBA degrees from the University of Tennessee.
