Faculty Profile: Kristeena Ashby

Kristeena Ashby is the Assistant Deputy of Clinical Operations for Long Term Services and Supports for Tennessee’s Bureau of TennCare.  Ms. Ashby has been a member of the operations management team for over 2 years and she provides direct clinical operational oversight of all functions related to Pre-admission screenings for level of care eligibility of Medicaid reimbursed long term services and supports, federally required PASRR screenings and Appeals.  Ms. Ashby has been a licensed nurse in the State of Tennessee for 22 years and has vast clinical experience in long term care, acute inpatient care, mental health and substance abuse services, intellectual and developmental disabilities; as well as leadership experience in correctional healthcare, healthcare education, and management of multi-state contracts for Medicaid programs./p>
