Faculty Profile: Lars Daniel

 Lars Daniel is a digital forensics examiner. He performs computer, cell phone, video, photo, and audio forensics for Guardian Digital Forensics. 

Lars is an EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE), AccessData Mobile Examiner (AME), Summation Certified End User (SCE), Summation Certified Case Manager, (SCCM), Summation Certified Administrator (SCA) and a Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist (CTNS). 

Lars is the co-author of the book Digital Forensics for Legal Professionals: Understanding Digital Evidence from the Warrant to the Courtroom. 

Lars has provided training in digital forensics and has taught continuing legal education (CLE) classes throughout the United States. He has also presented twice at the CEIC (Computer Enterprise Investigations Conference) in the years of 2011 and 2013. 

Lars has qualified as an expert witness and testified in State and Federal court. He has qualified as a computer forensics expert, a cell phone forensics expert, a digital forensics expert, a photo forensics expert, and as a video forensics expert. 

Lars has attended over 200 hours of forensic training and has worked on over 500 cases involving murder, child pornography, terrorism, rape, kidnapping, intellectual property, fraud, wrongful death, employee wrongdoing and large scale e-discovery collections.
