Faculty Profile: Robert Simpson

Rob Simpson, DVM, JD graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law in 2015.  Dr. Simpson was a practicing small animal veterinarian for 16 years.  Dr. Simpson currently runs a legal consulting firm. 

Dr. Simpson was the President of the Tennessee Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners; the Vice Chair of the Tennessee Controlled Substance Monitoring Database’s oversight Committee; and the East Tennessee Delegate of the Tennessee Bar Association Animal Law Division.

In 2013, Dr. Simpson was the president of the American Veterinary Medical Law Association.

Dr. Simpson has been published in numerous veterinary and legal publications.
