Biography

Paul Boyd was first elected as the Shelby County probate Court Clerk in August of 2010 at the age of 29. He was subsequently re-elected in 2014. He is a graduate of Bishop Byrne High School, in Memphis, and attended the University of Tennessee, at Knoxville. Before taking office, Mr. Boyd served the public working in a variety of public offices, and is a veteran of a litany of political campaigns. Paul is active in the Shelby County Republican Party, a member of the Memphis Urban League of Young Professionals and attends Bellevue Baptist Church. In 2015 Gov. Haslam appointed Paul Boyd to serve as a member of The Tennessee Board of Licensing of Health Care Facilities.
