Dean Hill Rivkin, College of Law Distinguished Professor at the University of Tennessee College of Law, has taught there since 1976. He has served as a Visiting Professor at Harvard Law School, UCLA, the University of Maryland, and American University Washington College of Law. His teaching, advocacy, and scholarship has focused on public interest lawyering and litigation, with particular emphasis on special education, school discipline, and school-to-prison-pipeline issues. He has been counsel in several leading cases under the Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
