Wendy Willis is a professional, full-time Spanish interpreter in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a Certified Court Interpreter for the State of Tennessee. Over the past nine years, in addition to legal and medical interpreting, Ms. Willis has also been a frequent interpreter for conferences and events. The daughter of American parents, she spent 18 of her formative years in Mexico. Ms. Willis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Kentucky University with a major in Advertising and a double minor in English Writing and Mass Communication.
The Tennessee Foreign Language Institute (TFLI) is an agency of the State of Tennessee created by the Tennessee General Assembly in 1986 with the purpose of coordinating and providing foreign language skills needed by state government,doing research into the most effective methods of foreign language instruction and disseminating that information,and improving the language skills and teaching methods of foreign language instructors at all levels in the state’s schools, colleges and universities.
