Biography

Since 2014, Kevin Walters has served as the Department’s Director of Communications, where he oversees the Department’s statements to the media, press releases, its social media channels and video. Before working for the State of Tennessee, he worked for 14 years as an award-winning journalist covering the City of Franklin and Williamson County for The Tennessean newspaper.
