Faculty Profile: Jill Ormandy

The 2024-25 season is Jill Ormandy’s ninth with the Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena. Ormandy serves as legal counsel for the Predators organization where she collaborates with all internal departments on the development and execution of business strategies. First joining the organization as Counsel in March 2016, Ormandy served as Senior Counsel and then Assistant General Counsel prior to taking on her current position.
 
Ormandy began her career at Turner Broadcasting in New York City, working in advertising sales and account management roles. After law school, Ormandy served as a judicial law clerk in the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania in the civil and commercial litigation divisions. Before joining the Nashville Predators and Bridgestone Arena, Ormandy spent four years in legal and business affairs roles at IMG, advising and supporting talent agents in the representation of athletes, coaches, broadcasters and entertainers, primarily in the areas of endorsements and marketing, media, and appearances.
 
Ormandy graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Science in marketing and then went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law. Ormandy serves as a member of the Wags & Walks Nashville Development Committee. Ormandy is from Brooklyn, New York and is now a proud resident of SMASHVILLE.
