Meagan Davis Collver is a shareholder in the Lewis Thomason's Knoxville office. She primarily focuses on healthcare liability defense matters, including physicians and group medical practices. She is involved in complex litigation matters, such as representing board-certified practitioners, civil rights and healthcare defense, nursing home and long-term care defense, and products liability defense.
Ms. Collver works diligently to familiarize her clients with the legal process and outcome options. She has obtained numerous dismissals based on pre-suit notice issues and has been able to preempt lawsuits on many medical malpractice and correctional healthcare cases.
Ms. Collver began her career as a criminal law clerk and was an intern to the Honorable Deborah C. Stevens of the Knox County Tennessee, Circuit Court. She is engaged by the many dynamic facets of health law and sees a foundational need for strong litigation and transactional knowledge in an increasingly complicated regulatory environment.
Ms. Collver is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Tennessee. She is also admitted to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Collver participates in various legal advice clinics through the Knoxville Bar Association and Justice for All Tennessee.
